  • WHAT WE ARE DOING?

    Hazrat Inayat Khan Foundation was founded in 2004, officially registered under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, that guarantees not-for-profit. It is located in Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, which is an 800 years old village in Delhi that got usurped by the city's growth. The "Basti" (Neighbourhood) is home to an insular community suffering the effects of extreme poverty. The foundation seeks to alleviate these effects by creating programs that allow the poor to help themselves, principally in the areas of Education, Health and Livelihood. Currently, the foundation runs a community health centre, education centres, vocational training courses, a thrift and credit program, and a women's micro-enterprise unit....
